By this point in the course, you have begun exploring:

Orientation, emotional awareness, mental fitness, purpose, business design, financial capacity, and business structure.

Now it is time to create direction.

A business needs more than a good idea.

It needs clarity about why it exists, where it is going, what it will prioritize, and how it will move from intention into action.

This is where mission, vision, values, strategy, and operating priorities begin to work together.

A mission statement should help explain what the business exists to do now.

A vision should describe the future the business is working toward.

Values should influence how the business operates while pursuing that mission and vision.

Strategy identifies the major choices and priorities that move the business forward.

Goals and operating actions translate those priorities into work that can be assigned, measured, reviewed, and adjusted.

Within the 2WANDA™ Framework:

Purpose Is Design.

If purpose is truly part of the business design, it should be visible in the business mission, leadership choices, workforce expectations, service model, policies, partnerships, goals, and day-to-day operations.

This week will help you move from:

“I know what I want to build.”

to:

“I can clearly explain what this business exists to do, where it is going, what matters most, and what must happen next.”
