Loc’d In Self-Love™

Remember Who You Are. Then Decide Where Your Overflow Goes.

Loc’d In Self-Love™ is a community centered on recognizing, understanding, and becoming more aligned with who you are—all of who you are.

Self-love here is not about perfection or pretending that every part of the journey feels good. It is about creating enough space to understand yourself without allowing a behavior, difficult season, outside judgment, or someone else’s interpretation to become your identity.

Behavior is data—not identity.

Behavior can be an expression of what is happening underneath the surface. Sometimes that expression is understood. Sometimes it is judged before there has been enough space to understand what is really happening, what is needed, or what is waiting to come into alignment.

Loc’d In Self-Love™ creates space for that understanding.

Your Overflow Has Somewhere to Go

When you begin to understand and accept who you are, something begins to change.

What you have learned, survived, developed, experienced, and discovered about yourself can become something that supports someone else.

That is what I mean by overflow.

Your overflow may become mentorship. It may become advocacy, caregiving, leadership, service, encouragement, community work, or simply the way you choose to show up for another person.

Through Loc’d In Self-Love™, I want to help people recognize that overflow, become oriented to where it can be useful, and determine how they can share it responsibly.

Community Before Mentorship

Loc’d In Self-Love™ is first a community.

You do not have to arrive knowing that you want to become a mentor. You can come to understand yourself, explore your experiences, strengthen your awareness, and discover what your own overflow may look like.

For some members, that journey may lead to mentorship.

Mentorship is not presented as having all the answers. It is the opportunity to walk alongside another person with greater understanding, awareness, compassion, accountability, and respect for their individual journey.

Becoming a Mentor

Mentorship is one of the primary ways I have chosen to direct my own overflow.

Through 2Wanda Community Foundation, I am inviting others who feel called to mentor to come alongside me, prepare responsibly, and help pour into the next generation and communities that may benefit from additional support.

Volunteer mentorship opportunities may focus on individuals and families connected to developmental disabilities and DDD, children and youth involved with foster care and child-welfare systems, and children with special needs in childcare and community environments.

Mentors will receive appropriate orientation, preparation, screening, and training before participating in volunteer mentorship activities.

Start With the Community

You do not have to know where your overflow belongs yet.

Start by remembering who you are. Give yourself room to understand what your experiences have developed in you. Then begin exploring where those experiences, gifts, skills, and perspectives may be able to serve.

Loc’d In Self-Love™ is the space to begin that process.

Your behavior may tell part of the story.
It does not get to become your identity.

And when you become more aligned with who you are, you get to decide where your overflow goes.
