2Wanda Learning Academy™

A Structured, Therapeutic Learning Environment

2Wanda Learning Academy™ is a small, structured, therapeutic learning environment designed to support students ages 5–20 who participate in online education programs.

The Academy provides a structured setting where students receive individualized paraprofessional support while participating in their family-selected online education program.

Families choose the education.
We provide the environment and support.

OUR EDUCATIONAL ROLE

Supporting the Online School Day

The family and/or online education provider remains responsible for the student’s education, curriculum, instruction, academic program, enrollment, attendance requirements, grades, and educational records. 2Wanda Learning Academy™ does not become the student’s school, teacher, or curriculum provider.

Our role is to support the student in successfully navigating the online school day through structure, supervision, participation support, and individualized assistance.

Your Path to Becoming a 2Wanda Angel™

A 2Wanda Angel™ is a professional who has completed the applicable orientation, preparation, screening, and role expectations for participation within the 2Wanda ecosystem.

Helping Families Understand the Pathway

Families may know that online education could benefit their child but still need help understanding where to begin, how the school day may work, and what education or care systems may be relevant.

2Wanda Learning Academy™ helps families organize information, prepare questions, understand available pathways, and connect with appropriate official agencies, education providers, and qualified professionals.

Family support may include:
  • Exploring whether an online education model aligns with the student’s needs, family routine, and available support
  • Identifying family-selected online education options and helping families prepare questions for providers
  • Clarifying the separate responsibilities of the family, education provider, Academy, and outside providers
  • Identifying needed structure, supervision, participation support, technology, scheduling, and documentation
  • Helping families organize existing education plans, support plans, authorizations, and provider information
  • Helping families identify relevant education, care, benefit, or support systems and appropriate questions to ask
  • Connecting families with responsible next steps when a need falls outside the Academy’s current role or authority
Family support is educational and navigational. 2Wanda Learning Academy™ does not determine eligibility, make decisions for outside programs, promise approval, guarantee funding, provide legal or financial advice, or represent an online school, provider, health plan, or public agency.

WHO WE SUPPORT

Students Ages 5–20 Across Abilities

2Wanda Learning Academy™ supports students ages 5–20 across abilities who are actively participating in online education programs and benefit from a small, structured environment, individualized assistance, supervision, social development, regulation-aware support, or help navigating their daily educational routine.

Participation is not limited to students receiving behavioral, developmental, or special-education support. Admission is based on the Academy’s current program scope, available capacity, staffing, the student’s support needs, family participation, safety considerations, and the Academy’s ability to provide appropriate support.

Students ages 18–20 remain subject to the participation, consent, privacy, education-program, and support requirements that apply to them as adults.

The Academy maintains a small setting and accepts no more than four participating students at one time. Enrollment or participation is not guaranteed.
