Mentorship Inquiry

Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor through the Loc’d In Self-Love™ mentor-development community and the volunteer mentorship pathway connected to 2Wanda Community Foundation.

This form is designed to help us learn more about your interest in mentoring, the communities you hope to support, your previous experience, your general availability, and your willingness to complete the required preparation. Mentorship may involve supporting children, youth, adults, families, or communities connected to behavioral health, developmental disabilities, child welfare, special-needs child care, and related community settings.

Please answer each question honestly and provide enough information for your interest to be reviewed. Previous mentoring or professional experience is helpful, but it is not the only factor considered. Applicants must be willing to complete the Orientation Method™, required mentor training, screening, background-check requirements, and the fingerprint-clearance process before participating in mentorship activities.

Loc’d In Self-Love™ is a free mentor-development community, and mentorship opportunities through 2Wanda Community Foundation are volunteer-based. Submitting this form does not guarantee acceptance, placement, or a specific volunteer opportunity. After your information is reviewed, you will receive details about the community, screening requirements, training expectations, and the next appropriate step in the mentor-development pathway.
