Training Through 2WTA Institute

Training for Behavioral Health, Direct Care and Care-Based Professions

The 2WTA Institute provides training and professional development designed to help professionals prepare for real care environments where safety, consistency, communication, regulation, and responsible support matter.

Available training may include:

The Orientation Method™ Standard

The Orientation Method™: 2WTA's Required Training Standard for Arizona's Behavioral Health Workforce

Regulation Before Correction. Alignment Before Escalation.

The Orientation Method™ is the behavioral alignment framework behind the 2WTA professional standard. It helps professionals understand that behavior communicates information about orientation, regulation, capacity, environment, communication, and unmet support needs.

Within the Orientation Method™:

  • Behavior is treated as data, not identity

  • Regulation is prioritized before correction

  • Capacity is considered before expectations are increased

  • Orientation creates clarity, structure, and consistency

  • Communication is aligned across people, environments, and support systems

  • Emotional safety is treated as part of responsible service

  • Support is designed to strengthen sustainable participation, not dependence or reactive control

Every profession represented through 2WTA keeps its own education, credentials, and scope of practice. The Orientation Method™ doesn't replace those requirements — it provides a shared behavioral support standard for anyone in the 2WTA registry, referral, or staffing pathway.

The 2WTA Standard: Training develops readiness → The Orientation Method™ sets the standard → The registry creates visibility → Staffing creates connection.
