Certification and credential pathways often include more than completing a class. Depending on the role, the process may involve eligibility requirements, training, documentation, competency assessment, qualified supervision, examinations, employer requirements, and ongoing renewal standards. 2WTA helps individuals understand the pathway, identify missing steps, and connect with appropriate training, education, assessment, or supervision resources when applicable.
How 2WTA Supports Certification Pathways
Explains the pathway and applicable requirements.
Reviews current training, documentation, experience, and readiness.
Identifies missing or incomplete steps.
Provides or coordinates applicable workforce training.
Connects participants to approved schools, programs, assessors, or qualified supervision when required.
Supports application, exam-readiness, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Helps participants connect completed preparation to registry or employment pathways.

RBT Certification Pathway
The RBT Certification Pathway supports individuals preparing to enter the behavioral health workforce through structured guidance, foundational training, professional readiness, and connection to the qualified clinical oversight required by the credentialing process.
2WTA may help participants understand the RBT requirements, locate or complete an eligible 40-hour training, organize documentation, prepare for the competency process and examination, and connect with a qualified BCBA or other authorized assessor for the competency assessment and required supervision. 2WTA does not issue the RBT credential and does not replace the BACB, the responsible certificant, the competency assessor, or ongoing supervision requirements.
