We provide DDD services that strengthen emotional safety, communication, community engagement, and job success.
DDD Services Offered
Habilitation is a strengths-based service designed to build, strengthen, and maintain daily living and adaptive skills that support greater independence at home and in the community.
Areas of focus may include:
- communication and social interaction skills
- daily living tasks (hygiene, routines, organization)
- community integration and participation
- emotional regulation and problem-solving
- building confidence through structured skill development
The goal of Habilitation is to increase independence, stability, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
Pathway to Employment is a structured, time-limited service that helps individuals explore their interests, identify strengths, and prepare for competitive employment.
Areas of focus include:
- career exploration and discovery
- identifying skills, preferences, and workplace goals
- resume development and interview preparation
- job sampling, shadowing, and community exploration
- building foundational soft skills
The goal is to create a clear, personalized path toward meaningful employment.
Individual and Group Supported Employment provide structured support for individuals working in integrated community settings.
Individual Supported Employment (ISE) includes 1:1 support in competitive employment settings with job coaching tailored to the person’s needs.
Group Supported Employment (GSE) provides small-group work opportunities with on-site supervision and team-based skill development.
Supports may include:
- on-the-job coaching and skill acquisition
- building workplace relationships
- task modification and support strategies
- promoting independence through gradual fading of support
- reinforcing professional habits and routines
The focus is long-term job success, stability, and meaningful participation in the workforce.
Employment Support Aide services provide additional support to help individuals maintain success in their work environment.
ESA may assist with:
- emotional regulation and stress management at work
- prompting and task support
- navigating workplace expectations
- reducing barriers that impact job stability
- coordination with team members when appropriate
The purpose of ESA is to promote sustained employment in the least restrictive and most integrated setting possible.
Employment Transportation provides safe, reliable transportation to and from employment-related services and job sites.
Transportation may include:
- rides to competitive or group employment
- transportation to Pathway to Employment activities
- travel to interviews, onboarding, or training
- safe transitions and supervised drop-off/pick-up
All transportation services meet required safety, compliance, and documentation standards.
This service helps remove logistical barriers so employment goals remain accessible and consistent.
Respite Services provide temporary, short-term relief for primary caregivers while ensuring the individual continues to receive safe, supportive care.
Respite may include:
- supervision in home or approved settings
- assistance with daily routines and activities
- structured engagement and skill maintenance
- support aligned with the individual’s care plan
Respite promotes caregiver well-being while maintaining continuity of care and stability for the individual.
We staff DSPs, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, childcare providers, and support staff to DDD-funded agencies, and we help DDD members directly enter and succeed in the workforce.
